A small pair with an over-card kicker- This is a strong poker hand that you can call a raise with on the flop. Although, you should likely fold it on the next round if it was rose on the flop and you have not better the hand and somebody wager before you.
If everybody checks on the flop- You can stake on the turn even if you have nothing. Your challenger will often fold in such a position, if they are too loose or too many.
